We wrap up this past weekend’s action.

The second half has begun and the PWHL has started play.

Boston College (10-7-2, 9-3-2-1 HEA) USAT Poll: 14 (+1) HEA: T-1st (0 Points Behind)

  • Last week: W 5-1 v St. Anselm (12/30)
  • Coming Week: @ Maine (1/6)

The Eagles took care of their NEWHA warmup opponent handily. They will head all the way up the coast to test their top spot in conference play against Maine.

Boston University (8-8-2, but 6-6-1-2 HEA) USAT Poll: NR HEA: T-6th (10 Points behind)

  • Last week: No Games
  • Coming Week: @ Maine (1/8)

The Terriers were the last team in action in the first half and they will be the last to return to action in the second half, they will also take on the Black Bears.

Harvard University (3-12-1, 1-9-1-1 ECAC, 0-4-1 Ivy) USAT Poll: NR ECAC: 11th (19.5 Points Behind) Ivy: 6th (4 Games Behind)

  • Last week: W 2-1 v Sacred Heart (1/2)
  • Coming Week: No Games

A game against a NEWHA team was exactly what the Crimson needed to start this half of the season. A win will hopefully jumpstart them to have a good second half.

Northeastern University (12-8-0, 7-6-0-1 HEA) USAT Poll: ARV (19) (-) HEA: T-3rd (7 Points Behind)

  • Last week: W 2-1 OT v Yale (1/2)
  • Coming Week: @ Holy Cross (1/5)

The Huskies were drawing dead for most of the game, even having a goal called back for an unnecessary contact by the hand, but were able to piece together a good third period and a great goal in OT to win in the Yale Whale for the second consecutive season, even if the stakes were much lower. Will Nu make a run for a set of trophies, only time will tell but this result was crucial to get them off on the right foot.

Boston PWHL (INSERT NAME HERE) (0-0-0) Standings: T-2nd (3 Points Behind)

  • Last Week: NA
  • Next Week: v Minnesota (1/3), v Ottawa (1/8)

Boston will start play tonight as they host Minnesota. There are high expectations for the team and the two games this week will give us some much needed insight.

Record This Week: 3-0-0
