After going without a game status on the final injury report before New Year’s Eve, Brown became a healthy scratch 90 minutes before kickoff. As for Bryant, who started in the secondary at Highmark Stadium, the 2020 undrafted arrival stayed in for 60 snaps on defense to go with 11 snaps on special teams. He had been questionable with a chest injury.

Meanwhile, because of a hamstring injury, New England’s defensive backfield has also gone without Peppers for consecutive matchups. The 14-game starter was downgraded from questionable prior to the AFC East trip to Orchard Park.
