Happy Thursday. Per movers and shakers Yamamoto is holding up a lot of the free agent pitching market. And by extension, probably some bats too. Way back in 2011: the Houston Astros traded RHP Mark Melancon to the Boston Red Sox for SS Jed Lowrie and RHP Kyle Weiland. Truly a move that just didn’t quite work out. Although Melancon had a long, productive career.
